Taking place on 17-18 September, the inaugural event will address Peru’s new iGaming licensing framework, covering compliance, commercial strategy and prediction markets.
Three weeks remain until the opening of LiGA Summit 2026, the new event dedicated to Latin America’s gaming sector, scheduled for 17-18 September in Lima at the El Pardo Lima – A DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. The initiative comes at a delicate moment for Peru, where the entry into force of the new iGaming licensing framework is raising a number of questions for operators, regulators and suppliers in the sector.
The first day, Thursday 17 September, will focus on the impact of the new Peruvian regulation on the stability of both the online and land-based markets, as well as the country’s role as a regional reference point for regulation and profitability in the Latin American sector. A further panel will address the growth of creator affiliates, with a focus on TikTok, YouTube and short-form marketing.
On Friday 18 September, the second day will concentrate on anti-money laundering and customer identity verification in Peru’s digital betting market, alongside a session on responsible marketing in relation to new compliance standards and a panel dedicated to diversity within the sector.
Also on 18 September, running alongside the main programme, the Prediction Markets Summit Americas 2026 will take place, a half-day of sessions dedicated to prediction markets. According to the organisers, the discussions will address trust in event-based products, with attention to fraud prevention, cybersecurity and consumer protection, as well as Brazil’s regulatory approach and the evolution of regulatory frameworks across the region. A final track will focus on product innovation and user engagement, with insights into artificial intelligence and emerging technologies applied to sportsbooks and affiliates.
Confirmed speakers include Carlos Alberto Fonseca Sarmiento, managing partner at Gaming Law S.A.C., Celeste Arredondo, founder of International Gaming Women, Gabriel Bazza, senior affiliate manager at Betnix, Lucas Tapia Luna, CRM marketing manager for Apuesto.com, Rojabet and Latribet, and Milagros Gabriela Seijas Peralta, head of legal and compliance at La Tinka S.A.C.
Registration, as well as sponsorship and exhibition packages, is open on the website of Eventus International, the organiser of the summit.
