At the fourth edition of the event: sessions on Poland, Malta, Germany and the Netherlands, prediction markets, digital identity and the EiGE awards.
Warsaw will host the fourth edition of the Hipther Warsaw Summit on 27 and 28 October at the InterContinental, bringing together operators, suppliers, lawyers, compliance experts, fintech and payments players, affiliates and technology developers. The agenda, released by the organisers on 7 October, is built around 2027 planning and the way regulation, artificial intelligence and payment systems are changing how business is done in regulated markets.
The compliance and regulatory affairs strand is the one of most direct interest to the gaming sector. The programme includes in-depth sessions on the Polish market and the Central and Eastern Europe area, on licensing expansion in Malta, Germany and the Netherlands, on contracts between operators and suppliers at a time of regulatory change, on the concrete results of responsible gambling policies, and on anti-money laundering beyond customer identity checks alone. A prominent place goes to the Imgl masterclass, the international association of lawyers specialising in gaming law, scheduled for the first day from 11:20 to 12:10. The question it addresses is whether prediction markets and sweepstakes should be regarded as gambling, as financial products or as a new category. Other sessions cover compliant affiliate growth, whistleblowing and corporate accountability, as well as how to promote a brand when paid advertising is restricted and AI assistants increasingly answer first.
On the technology stage, discussions will cover human oversight of artificial intelligence, autonomous agents in financial services, instant payments and the digital euro, embedded finance and the economic sustainability of fintech companies, through to digital identity, eIDAS 2.0 and Eudi wallets. The Hipther Academy completes the picture with applied workshops, including a live audit of a brand’s visibility in AI-generated answers, and a technical session on website indexing in the age of generative search. The organisers note that one Academy session has yet to be announced and that the programme is subject to change.
“The aim is to give industry leaders a direct and interactive platform to decode European rules, use real AI applications and take home concrete strategies,” said Zoltan Tündik, co-founder and head of business at Hipther, who argued that companies can no longer treat compliance, technology and market expansion as separate areas.
On the evening of 27 October, at Podwale Bar and Books, the European iGaming Excellence Awards 2026 ceremony is scheduled for 21:00. The shortlists were determined after nominations and public voting, while the winners will be chosen by delegates registered for the summit across categories covering operators, suppliers, affiliates, technology, payments, regulatory excellence and individual achievement. Attendance is included in the pass. The following day, after a 6 to 7 km networking run in the morning, the closing event is set for 19:00 at Steam Bar with a Halloween-themed evening. A welcome evening is also planned for 26 October at AZYL Shot & Craft Beer Bar.
The sponsors include Gaming Laboratories International as main quality and compliance sponsor, Superbet for the compliance and operations stage, Imgl as legal content partner, and RM Legal and Gaming In Poland as general sponsors. Registration is available through the Hipther Lounge platform, where a group offer allows teams to buy three passes for the price of two and a half.
