On October 15, manufacturers, operators, regulators and industry associativo s will gather at the Sheraton Bogotá Hotel. Technological innovations from leading international brands and a Gat Talks agenda focused on the industry’s current landscape, opportunities and challenges will set the tone for the 2026 edition of Gat Expo Bogotá.
With just days to go before the event, Gat Expo Bogotá 2026 is preparing to bring together key players from Colombia’s gaming industry, along with international business visitors, for an intensive one-day event combining a trade show, technology updates, networking opportunities and in-depth discussions on issues that are central to the sustainable development of this important sector of the economy.
Organized by Gat Events, the event will take place on Thursday, October 15, at the Sheraton Bogotá Hotel, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a particular focus on the land-based casino industry, while also featuring online betting platforms and technology solutions driving the transformation of gaming markets in Colombia and around the world.
This edition takes on particular significance as it is being held during the first months of Colombia’s new National Government. The recent appointment of Jaime Vives Pinedo as President of Coljuegos opens a new chapter in the dialogue between the regulator and the gaming ecosystem, at a time when the industry is seeking to strengthen its competitiveness, promote responsible gaming, combat illegal gambling, foster innovation and consolidate its contribution to funding Colombia’s healthcare system.
Gat Talks: dialogue on the present and future of the industry
As part of Gat Events’ commitment to enhancing its trade shows by addressing issues of particular relevance to each jurisdiction, the Gat Talks Bogotá conference agenda will provide a preview of the conferences and panels planned for GAT Expo Cartagena 2027, which will take place from March 30 to April 1 at the Las Américas Convention Center in Cartagena.
The participation of industry associations Asojuegos, Fecoljuegos, Cornazar and Fedelco, together with their members, will bring together different perspectives on the sector’s priorities and the challenges that must be addressed over the medium and long term.
The first panel of the afternoon will address “Responsible Gaming and Sustainable Development,” with the participation of the presidents of Colombia’s operator and supplier associations.
The second discussion will be moderated by Georges Didier of Gli, bringing the expertise and standing of a certification laboratory with in-depth knowledge of the evolution and regulatory processes experienced by the Latin American gaming industry in recent years. He will be joined by prominent executives from Colombia’s land-based casino sector.
The third panel will be led by Andrés Blanco of Gamanza Engage, an integrated customer engagement and loyalty platform combining Crm, gamification and mini games. Founded in Switzerland, the platform currently operates across several countries in the Americas. Representatives of licensed online gaming operators in Colombia will participate in the discussion.
The event provides an opportunity to strengthen communication channels among the regulatory authority, associations representing the industry’s various verticals, and business leaders committed to building a shared vision for the sector’s goals and sustainable development over the next four years.
