SOFTSWISS wins two European iGaming Excellence Awards 2026: customer service and marketing campaign recognised

SOFTSWISS has won two awards at the European iGaming Excellence Awards 2026. The international technology provider for the online gaming sector took the Best Customer Service and Best Marketing Campaign categories, the first for the support model it offers operators, the second for the campaign through which the company promoted its entire product portfolio.

On the customer service side, the jury rewarded an approach that combines dedicated account management with technical expertise, aimed at helping clients handle a wide range of situations: from responding to cyberattacks and meeting regulatory requirements to improving player retention and adapting products. According to the company, this approach is also reflected in its latest technological developments, such as the Back Office AI Workflow integrated into the Casino Platform, a tool that allows operators to prepare marketing campaigns through natural-language conversations. The feature performs routine tasks directly within the platform, reducing manual work and preparation time, while final decisions remain in the hands of the teams.

The second award went to #SOFTSWISSHasMore, a campaign created to show the market an offering that extends well beyond the casino platform alone. The initiative began in May 2026 with a self-ironic LinkedIn post by Chief Marketing Officer Valentina Bagniya, who acknowledged that the company’s full product range had not always been clearly perceived. Employees then joined in, sharing photos of themselves holding handwritten signs dedicated to different products. The idea moved from digital to physical at NEXT Summit Valletta, where more than 50 participants held similar signs during a live activation. According to figures released by the company, the campaign generated 88 media publications, an estimated reach of 80,000 to 100,000 users through employee posts and more than 7,000 live viewers during the event.

The choice of a campaign able to work across multiple channels is also supported by the SOFTSWISS 2027 iGaming Trends report, which finds that the industry’s acquisition channels remain fragmented: SEO leads with 18% of responses, followed by streamer and influencer marketing at 16.8% and affiliate marketing at 16.2%, with no channel holding a clear advantage.

“These two awards recognise different aspects of our work, but they are closely connected,” Bagniya commented. “Our new positioning describes how we want partners to experience SOFTSWISS: as a company they can rely on for technology, expertise and support when challenges arise. At the same time, the campaign showed that even in a crowded market, a simple and honest idea can attract attention when people genuinely want to take part.”
